Joe began working with Circulate San Diego’s Policy team in January 2015. Joe specializes in the nexus between sustainable transportation, community development, and urban water issues. Joe is a graduate of George Washington University with a master’s degree in Sustainable Urban Planning. Joe held positions as a Research Associate in the Urban Institute’s Metropolitan Program and as the Federal City Council’s Anacostia River Legacy Project Research and Outreach Analyst. While working with these organizations, Joe worked on innovative green infrastructure policies and incentives. Joe’s experience in merging green infrastructure and storm water policy with transportation and community needs provides Circulate San Diego an invaluable resource in analyzing the potential for sustainability in our region’s land use and transportation policies.
