Introducing GBIG Highlight Collections

GBIG launches self-service feature allowing companies to associate their brand with high-performing buildings, and showcase their best work on LEED projects.

This year, exhibitors at the Greenbuild Expo have a new way to promote their products and services beyond the booth. We’ve introduced LEED Highlight Collections in GBIG, a self-service feature that allows companies to associate their brand with high-performing buildings, and showcase their best work on LEED projects.

Using GBIG’s powerful search engine, users can quickly find the buildings where their company’s products or services were used to earn LEED points and help achieve certification.  After assembling their list of LEED “highlights”, users can then customize their collection by uploading their own photos or logos, adding descriptive text, and attaching links to spec sheets, product brochures, web sites, case studies or other resources. GBIG presents all the selected projects and user-contributed branding elements together in a presentation-ready format, complete with summary analytics, maps, charts and tables.

GBIG Branded Collections provide an overview of an organization's LEED certification activity.

Every GBIG collection has a permanent URL that can be embedded in other web pages or easily communicated via email or social media. Best of all, these branded collections will live on in GBIG well beyond Greenbuild, and can be edited or updated at any time to reflect new accomplishments or product lines.

Check out all of our GBIG collections here.  We hope Greenbuild exhibitors find this new feature a beneficial addition to their marketing tool kit, and we look forward to expanding this offer to a wider GBIG audience soon. If you would like to receive an invitation to create your own branded collection in GBIG, please send an email to mpanek@usgbc.org or visit us at the GBIG pod in the USGBC Nation booth at Greenbuild this year.  To keep up to date about this and other new GBIG features, sign up for the GBIG newsletter here.
