Call for Entries: 2016 SBIC Beyond Green Awards

As a source of innovative solutions for the built environment, the National Institute of Building Sciences Sustainable Buildings Industry Council (SBIC) continues to promote exceptional performance through the advancement of a ‘whole building approach.’ The SBIC Beyond Green High-Performance Building Awards recognize initiatives that shape, inform, and catalyze the high-performance building market. Each year approximately 20 projects are identified as the best representatives in four categories; High-Performance Buildings, High-Performance Attributes and Systems, High-Performance Initiatives, and Innovations for High-Performance Buildings and Communities.

Nominations for the 2016 SBIC Beyond Green High-Performance Building Awards are currently being accepted through the end of this month (October 31).

Past recipients of this award have included:

Bullitt Center: Honor Award – First Prize

Karuna House: Merit Award in the High-Performance Buildings

Bertschi Living Building Science Wing: Award of Merit for Distinction in a Sustainable Addition
