Greenbuild 2015 kicks off this week in Washington, DC, and for the 5th consecutive year the conference education program will feature a small number of special sessions dedicated to advanced research in green building. Research sessions dig into complex green building concepts, and are intended to make Greenbuild attendees aware of critical research findings within the industry. Research sessions at Greenbuild are selected based on each proposal’s emphasis on critical evaluation of practice, the collection of new empirical data, and the development and application of practical solutions. Each session is accompanied by an original research paper further detailing each project’s process and outcomes. These papers are available in advance of the conference, and can be read now online.
