Code Green Solutions
Last week we announced the introduction of new features on GBIG that allow employees of USGBC and GBCA member companies, as well as LEED professionals, to share their work by adding their roles to projects and buildings. Active members and APs in credential maintenance can also create and publish their own personal collections on GBIG, highlighting their work on green buildings with customizable visualizations and personal branding elements. By associating yourself with high-performing buildings in GBIG, you can build your online presence and easily promote your professional accomplishments. You will also start to show up in GBIG search results, increasing the opportunities for GBIG users to discover your profile and learn about your work.
Both of these new features – adding roles and creating collections – increase a user’s odds of appearing on GBIG leaderboards. In addition to role-specific leaderboards, the site will highlight leaders on GBIG place pages. This is where we celebrate the professionals who are most active in the represented market. Individuals who have currently posted the most roles and contributions are featured here, so the list is always changing. It’s GBIG’s way of helping you stand out and get recognition for your efforts to green the built environment.
Get started adding your roles and creating your collections now by signing up for a free GBIG account and validating your membership or credential status. See you on the leaderboard!
